Ashok Leyland, a leading commercial vehicle player in India continued to see a fall in domestic sales for the month of July 2020 at 4282 units as compared to 10100 units in July 2019. This resulted in a fall of (-) 58 per cent. The fall was more significant in the medium and heavy commercial vehicle segment where sales fell by 75 per cent at 1499 units (6017) in July 2020. Cumulative sales of vehicles for the period April-July 2020 fell by (-) 84 per cent.
